NOTHING THAT I WOULDN'T GIVE - MODERN FIX REVIEW
When it comes to new hardcore there aren't many bands that impress me. But then I received the new Dark Day Dawning CD, "nothing that I wouldn't give". These guys truly defy categorization. The song "If Only", kicks off the CD with hard and in your face hardcore/metal riffs with an amazing screaming vocal. The CD as a whole remains very energetic throughout. I was really surprised to hear clean vocals mixed with the raw screams of Matt Canning, but it creates for such an emotionally driven sound. The song "Aphrasia" was definitely the song that clinched the deal for me. Definitely a band to go see live. Until then pick up this CD. It's no wonder to me why this band sells so many records. - Lucas
